Analytics & Segmentation Marketing - Statistician
As Sales Account Manager you will responsible for finding, contacting and establishing commercial relationships with new clients / partners and coordinating and implementing all aspects of OMI’s Clients’ businesses. The Client Services Manager will work closely with the Managing Director to secure, develop client project plans, manage and execute all company products and services for clients within the agreed budget and timeframe.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
» Building and managing prospect databases for database activations via direct mail channels or interactive marketing eDMs and other channels which involves profiling of prospective consumer customers;
» Segmenting the prospect database and identify the target segments relevant for communication via different mediums to the different product types;
» Data analytics, and consumer segmentation, predictive and / or forecast model development. Specific responsibilities include:
› Develop predictive models that increase the efficiency and effectiveness of Client database-driven CRM (Customer Relationship Marketing / Management) initiatives.
› Perform data preparation, model design, and model maintenance.
› Plan, execute, and effectively communicate the results of strategic database analyses in support fo Client business (e.g. analyze impact of direct mail campaigns on market share, program response analysis etc).
» Managing online panel database for marketing research project campaigns for partners and clients.
QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES / SKILLS:
To be considered for this role, you must be able to demonstrate the knowledge & skills requirements:
» Combination of strong analytical and segmentation skills
» In-depth knowledge and professional experiences of statistical tools like SPSS and techniques (linear and logistic regression, time series analysis etc) used for modeling, segmentation, forecasting and in-depth data analysis.
» Strong communication and interpersonal skills
» Ability to work effectively and efficiently as part of a team
» Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree relating to Statistics, Business Studies, Marketing, Commerce or equivalent
» At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is preferred
» Exposure to marketing experience will be an advantage
» English language – written & verbal. Must be able to write reports in English.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales Acquisitions
» Working closely with Sales & Marketing Manager and Sales Team to drive sales and build the business – selling Online and Interactive Marketing Solutions – Email Marketing, SMS Marketing, Loyalty Marketing, e-Coupons / Sponsorship Marketing and other Premium Products.
» Identify and discover potential clients, sponsorship partners, new business opportunities in new markets to deliver business solutions to fulfill customer needs.
» Evaluate customer’s existing and potential products needs and make appropriate recommendations.
» Prepare and implement a business plan to support your Sales activities.
» Review & analyze tenders and other relevant proposals.
» Cold calling and appointment setting for the Company products and services.
» Assistance the Client Services in handling the client matters if required.
» Build strong relationships with all business units internally and externally.
General Sales Assistance
» Following up work schedules and processes rightly.
» Attending all on-job-training and applying clear guidance for cold calling, appointment setting and report compiling.

Sales Document and Reports
» Preparing daily, weekly and monthly sales reports in compliance with targeted plan and meeting deadlines.
» Preparing client status with direct marketing details, up-to-date marketing activities and relevant information to help sales function to achieve the contracts.
» Prospect report of result summary of research.
» Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and competition.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Degree in Business / Marketing or related discipline is preferred.
Competencies/ Skills:

» A Direct Marketing Sales related experience / background perhaps in the publishers, advertising agencies, digital on-line, e-marketing, related web services, etc.
